I hadn’t tapped my love for quilting yet when one of my best high school friends had her first two children, so I was thrilled for a chance to make Awesome Ocean for her third. I love an excuse to use an Elizabeth Hartman pattern. Not only are they cute as can be, they work so well with scraps and mixing of colors. The back is my own design. (October 2018)
