I can’t get enough hexagons in my life. There are so many ways to sew a hex. You can use a template or connect together triangles like the Honey pattern from Elizabeth Hartman (see first post), but my recent favorite is to use squares and sew in strips. I made this for a friend who spends a lot of time in the hockey rink. The back is fleece and the colors represent her son’s hockey team. My son and I are now super excited for a quilt that represents his school colors :). (April 2019)
